Formation and application of new superhard materials
Industrial diamond superhard materials are made by mixing graphite, catalyst and additives in a six-sided top press by high temperature and high pressure. The main products of Huashan New Materials include gem-grade large single crystals, industrial grade large single diamond crystals, diamond single crystals, diamond powder, etc. Its application mainly includes the following fields：
1.Gem-grade large single crystals, as the raw materials for lab grown diamonds, have natural advantages and wide applications in the jewelry industry. The cut rough diamond can be used to make carat diamonds, diamond rings and other jewelry. Our company mainly provides 1-10 carat large single crystal rough diamond raw materials and loose diamonds. At the same time, we can provide fine customized services for jewelry deep processing. The deep-processed jewelry includes diamond rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.
2.As the main product of our company, large diamond single crystals can be processed into diamond composite drill bits and other drilling tools. Their high wear resistance, high impact resistance and high thermal stability make their drilling tools play an important role in the mining and excavation of oil, coal, natural gas and other fields.
3.Diamond single crystals can be crushed to form diamond powder. Diamond powder is mainly used to produce grinding tools such as grinding wheel belts, grinding wheels, grinding blocks, rollers, drums and other grinding tools after deep processing; grinding tools are mainly used for grinding and polishing of non-metallic hard and brittle materials such as cemented carbide, stone, ceramics and glass.
4.Diamond single crystals plus diamond powder can form sawing grade single crystals. Sawing grade single crystals have the advantages of high hardness, high wear resistance, high thermal conductivity, low friction coefficient, low thermal expansion coefficient, and low affinity with non-ferrous metals and non-metallic materials. They can be used to make saw blades, wire saws, knives and other sawing tools. Sawing tools are mainly used in the cutting of building stones, semiconductor silicon wafers, optical glass, ceramics and other fields.
5.Other application areas: Some large diamond single crystals can be used to produce functional products with special photoelectric, acoustic and thermal properties, such as heat sinks, optical windows, electronic devices, etc. They are mainly used in semiconductor integrated circuit chips, heat sinks, semiconductor materials, biosensors, high temperature resistant light-transmitting devices, super-hard weapon parts and other high-tech fields.
